In 2010, the Pepsi Refresh Project gave away millions of dollars and has returned in 2011 to provide even more grant money to various projects and organizations doing good across the country.
Gillette Pepsi-Cola has embraced the Pepsi Refresh Project spirit and has made it a priority to give back to our local communities. This year we’ve partnered with local retailers and hosted a Community Day to raise funds for our local fire departments, ambulance services and emergency responders. These organizations do so much for the people in our community and the mostly volunteer force put themselves in danger to protect their neighbors. One thousand dollar grants have been awarded to these organizations to purchase much needed supplies and safety gear.
Do your part, thank your local heroes and help keep these services strong by supporting them whenever you can.
Thank you to the following retailers for partnering with us to support these men and women!

Let's give a big hand to our friends in St. James, MN who have successfully campaigned for a Pepsi Refresh grant worth $25,000! Their idea will turn old unusable tennis court into a playground for kids up to age five. Dubbed "Toddler Town", the playground will provide an outdoor classroom setting for kids to learn about being green and to get outside for some physical activity. What a great way to beautify and improve a small town. Congratulations and enjoy your new playground!
Karen in Viroqua, WI has also received a Pepsi Refresh Project grant. $5,000 has been awarded for her idea to buy canned goods to stock three local food pantries; Good Shepard Church Food Pantry , Living Faith Church Food Pantry and Bethel Butikk Food Pantry. Thanks Karen for working so hard to help families in need.
